Compliance Calendar for Jammu & Kashmir State - A Detailed Guide

Here is a lay down on the mandatory compliance forms as per the Kashmir calendar. The following subsections elaborate on the various compliance forms of the Kashmir Calendar a Human Resource/ Factory/ Personnel Manager working in the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir needs to fill and submit to appropriate authorities. 15th April 2022

The first compliance form in the Kashmir Calendar is Form ER-I or the quarterly return to be filed by a manager and submitted to the local employment exchange under the Employment Exchange (CNV) Act, 1959 & Rules. In this Form, the manager needs to enter the details of the total number of vacancies, total number of men and women working, and manpower shortages.

It is good to note that all Human Resource/ Factory/ Personnel Managers working in the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir must furnish Form ER-I on or before 15th July 2022, October 2022, and January 2023.

15th April 2022

The second compliance form in the Kashmir Calendar is the Remittance of Contributions challans under the PF Act. The manager needs to submit this to the concerned regional officer of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. The challans mention the amount of employees’ and employer’s contributions.

It is good to note that all Human Resource/ Factory/ Personnel Managers working in the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir must furnish the Remittance of Contributions challans under the PF Act on or before the 15th of every month from April 2022 to March 2023.

21st April 2022

The third compliance form in the Kashmir Calendar is the Remittance of Contributions challans under the ESI Act. The manager needs to submit this to the concerned regional officer of the Employees’ State Insurance. The challans mention the amount of the employer’s contribution and other details.

It is good to note that all Human Resource/ Factory/ Personnel Managers working in the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir must furnish the Remittance of Contributions challans under the ESI Act on or before the 21st of every month from April 2022 to March 2023.

25th April 2022

According to the Kashmir Calendar, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers need to submit Forms 1, 2, 10, 21, and 22 under the PF Act to the concerned regional officer of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. In these forms, the manager needs to furnish the monthly remittance statement and employees’ qualifying and leaving statement.

It is good to note that all Human Resource/ Factory/ Personnel Managers working in the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir must furnish Forms 1, 2, 10, 21, and 22 on or before the 25th of every month from April 2022 to March 2023.

29th July 2022

According to the Kashmir Calendar, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers need to submit the half-yearly return by the contractor under XXIV Rule 82(1) of the Contract Labour (R&A) Act, 1070 & Rules. The return must be submitted to the concerned licensing officer on or before 29th July 2022 and 29th January 2023.

30th July 2022

According to the Kashmir Calendar, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers must submit Form XXIII & XXIV under the Inter-State Migrant Workman Act to the concerned licensing or registering officer.

It is good to note that all Human Resource/ Factory/ Personnel Managers working in the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir must furnish Form XXIII & XXIV on or before 30th July 2022 and 30th January 2023.

15th January 2023

According to the Kashmir Calendar, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers must submit Form 29 Annual Return under Factories Act to the Chief Inspector of Factories. The Form must contain information about the total number of employees working in a particular organization and other details about workplace safety.

21st January 2023

According to the Kashmir Calendar, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers must submit the details of payment and annual returns under LMNO Rule 16(1) of the Maternity Benefit Act to the Competent Authority.

30th January 2023

By 30th January 2023, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers must furnish Form IV under the Jammu & Kashmir Payment of Wages Rules, 1972 and Form 21 under the Jammu & Kashmir Factories Rules, 1972. Both forms must be submitted to the concerned inspectors.

31st January 2023

On 31st January 2023, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers must furnish Form III under the Jammu & Kashmir Minimum Wages Rules, 1972 to the inspector. This Form is known as the ‘Annual Returns’ Form. Besides Form III, managers also need to file the annual report under Section 21 of the POSH Act to the concerned district officer.

14th February 2023

According to the Kashmir Calendar, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers must submit the annual return by the principal employer under the Contract Labour Regulation and Abolition Act to the registering officer. They need to fill out Form XXV for the purpose.

30th March 2023

On or before 30th March 2023, all factory, personnel, or human resource managers must submit Annexure A or the Single Annual Consolidated Return under the Jammu & Kashmir Ease of Doing Business Scheme, 2018 to the inspector.
